Seven members of the Uganda mission team got together last night for a quick rundown of last-minute details and then spent the next hour packing 19 suitcases and duffle bags with supplies. So much goodness in those bags! Soccer shirts, books, shoes, more books, packets for sponsored kids, still more books, crayons, soccer balls, and, of course, candy! Everyone seems to be close to having their personal bags ready as well. The biggest concern now is the weather. Predictions of rain, ice, and snow for tonight and tomorrow have us a bit worried about getting out of St. Louis in time to catch our connecting flight in Minneapolis. We are checking into options - but recognize weather isn't something we control! Prayers for smooth check-in and on-time flights are welcome. Looking forward to serving with this great group!

What a fantastic group you are! I can speak as the mother of my 19 yr old son and his girlfriend who spent 7 weeks in Ghana last year that this will be a trip that will change you forever!! I can't wait to hear about it all from Tom and Carrie! Never been prouder to call you my family! Tamara
